Step 5: Bent Tempering |

The horizontal bending and tempering system
used by Cameron is the most widely recognized system in the world for
producing automotive quality glass. Horizontal bending by Cameron is free of
tong marks, has superior optical quality and tight tolerances, with a degree of shape consistency from part to part that is unparalled. Sag
bending can achieve depths of bend up to six (6) inches (152mm). Eighteen
(18) inch (457mm) depths of bend can be attained with press form tooling.
