CamGlass began operations in 1978 to satisfy the need for higher quality tempered safety glass delivered in a reasonable lead time.
In the beginning we served one customer in one market. Thirty-three years later, customer by customer and market by market, CamGlass has gained national recognition as the glass fabricator of first choice for outstanding quality and on-time delivery.
CamGlass attained its initial ISO 9002 certification on March 18, 1999. Since that time 16 Surveillance Audits have been conducted by ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc. along with one scope expansion upgrade to QS 9000:1998 on July 12, 2001.
We have now passed nine back-to-back Surveillance Audits with only one minor finding. On March 9, 2005, CamGlass completed the ISO 9001:2000 Transition Audit, achieving a perfect score with no findings, and became certified to the ISO 2000 standard. On August 18, 2009 CamGlass completed the Transition Audit Upgrade to ISO 9001:2008.
